TR Vivek

TR Vivek has worked as a journalist since 1998. He is currently the head of digital operations at the Hindu Business Line. Vivek has written extensively on politics, culture, business, agriculture, ecology and sports. His work has won multiple awards including the RedInk journalism award in 2018 given by the Mumbai Press Club. He is the co-author of Cricket and Commerce: IPL An Inside Story, a 2009 book on the business of cricket and the formation of IPL. He hosts a weekly podcast called Field Notes, which is perhaps the only Indian podcast on agriculture and is working on a book on the river Kaveri.
