Mr. Sunil Srivastava is a career banker and has recently retired as Dy.<br>Managing Director of the Corporate Accounts Group after 38 years with the<br>State Bank of India. <br>During his last assignment, Mr. Srivastava was actively involved and<br>spearheaded on behalf of the banking industry for the resolution and recovery<br>process for most of the large corporates, both pre and post NCLT.<br>He has spent a major part of his career in corporate banking at SBI, investment<br>banking at SBI Capital Markets Ltd., besides a 5 year stint at the banks New<br>York office which afforded an exposure in international banking. <br>He has held varied other assignments including the Banks Chief General<br>Manager for the Bengal Circle and also as DMD for corporate strategy and<br>digital businesses.<br>Mr. Srivastava is a graduate of the Delhi University and a MBA from FMS,<br>BHU.<br>He writes frequently on credit related issues in the banking industry and is a<br>familiar face on the business channels in India.<br>Post retirement Mr. Srivastava has been engaged as a Sr. Advisor in the Global<br>Wealth Asset Management business at Edelweiss, besides undertaking a part<br>time engagement with the World Bank as a Sr. Advisor for their roof top solar<br>program in India. He also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of a<br>few Companies.
