She is the CEO at Swaniti Initiative, a non-profit that delivers development solutions to government officials in India. As CEO her role focuses on developing long-term growth strategies and formulating key partnerships with Indian central and state government bodies. Prior to Swaniti, Bhattacharya was working at the World Bank as an Associate on Labor Market Issues. She has a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's in Economics and Political Science from Wake Forest University. Bhattacharya is Forbes India's 30 under 30, Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and a special Invitee to the White House for her work on Social Enterprise. She has published three books with the most recent being "What makes a politician" by Harper Collins.
