Rekha Koita is the Director and Co-Founder of Koita Foundation, an organisation that works with NGOs and not for profit organisations to leverage technology in order to create a meaningful impact on society. They work on digitally transforming operations of NGOs to optimise processes and use data and analytics to drive performance and growth. They have also recently partnered with IIT Bombay to set up the Koita Centre for Digital Health to drive digital health informatics in India. Rekha is an experienced management consultant and corporate trainer, specializing in business process consulting. Rekha was a management consultant at Accenture for over 8 years where her key focus areas included operations (business process re-engineering, ERP design & implementation, performance / profitability enhancement), and HR (corporate governance, recruitment and training). Based on her experience in management consulting, Rekha she has also conducted corporate training for leading Indian and multinational organizations. She has done several training workshops for start-ups and NGOs in niche areas like problem solving and presentation skills. Rekha is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award – IIT Bombay (2019). She has earned her Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Mumbai in 1992, where she received the Institute Medal for graduating at the top of her class. Subsequently she completed her Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (USA) in 1994.
