Rajyalakshmi Cyanam is a first-time Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Corporator from Vinayaknagar, Hyderabad. Vianyaknagar Division constitutes two-thirds slum. Ms. Cyanam has done her education entirely in Hyderabad; she completed her schooling in Keys High School. She went on to get a degree in Life Sciences from Osmania University. She later got a Masters of Arts in Public Personnel Management from Osmania University. She is also an Associate of the Indian Institute of Insurance. She worked for LIC of India for 22 years as a computer programmer and retired as an Administrative Officer. She was also a union leader during her time in LIC of India. She has always wanted to be a part of and bring about change in society. This has motivated her to take part in various service-oriented activities. One of them being a New Voices District Coordinator for Lions Club District 320 C from 2018 - 21. This work has received international recognition. She was also BJP Medchal-Malkajgiri District Secretary for 5 years before becoming a Corporator. As a Corporator, she is always trying her best to give her constituents the best quality of life.
