Dr. Rajeswari Ranganathan is an Independent Veterinarian with a specialization In microbiology and a postgraduate Diploma in Agriculture extension Management. She has a vast experience in teaching, research, entrepreneurship and Farm business development. In addition, she has more than 25 years of experience through voluntary services to NGOS promoting women empowerment and enterprise development, especially in rural areas. She also has contributed immensely to the rural development sector by helping in capacity building of organization, planning and implementing projects, publication of newsletters, project reports and publishing case studies, fundraising, technology transfer, networking and mentoring small businesses, leadership development, micro-enterprise development and sustainable Agri based enterprises. She conceptualized and implemented various projects under CSR, ICAR, World Bank, NAIP, projects, projects under various ministries of Government of India and State Government especially in rural industrialization, agribusiness promotion and women entrepreneurship. She has been and currently on the board of NGOs, Women Cooperative Bank, Professional associations, as a southern regional committee member Of UNDP- SGP project under CEE (Centre for Environment Education). She is currently helping training of farmers to farm enterprise management and helping in Farmer's networking and marketing of produce.<br>She was also the recipient of the Gold medal in Veterinary Studies, received awards and recognition as "women entrepreneur" and "women Achiever" from various Institutions.
