A medical doctor with specialization in Community Medicine, Radha leads the Technical Support Unit (TSU) for Non-Communicable Diseases for Maharashtra state. Radha played a key role in conceptualizing Government of Maharashtra’s ‘Man-Swasthya’ campaign for mental health during COVID-19. She actively engages with students in schools and colleges to discusses mostly important but taboo health topics. Prior to this, she worked as State Epidemiologist for NCDs in Directorate of Health Services, Goa and was also affiliated with Goa Institute of Management as a visiting faculty for the health care management course. She is a recipient of the prestigious MAMTA-HMIC fellowship in adolescent health, several awards for research papers and authorship in IAPSM Community Medicine textbook.
