Anisha is the team lead at Nyaaya, an open access digital resource that provides simple, actionable and authoritative legal information to help solve day to day legal problems and create awareness about rights so that people feel empowered to seek justice. She holds a BA-LLB (Hons) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and an LLM in International Law and Human Rights from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She has spent the past decade working with various civil society organisations in the areas of gender-based violence and access to justice. Some of her previous roles have been at the Office of the Secretary General at Amnesty International in London, the Harvard Law School Gender Violence Programme and the Harvard South Asia Institute, in Cambridge Massachusetts and The Majlis Legal Centre and Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai
