Alok Varma is associated with HCL Foundation as Project Director. He leads HCL Samuday – a rural development flagship program of the Foundation, and Clean NOIDA – a municipal waste management initiative. Having played key role in conceptualization and creation of these programs, he oversees their strategy and management aspects. Alok started his career as a civil servant in the state of Uttar Pradesh and holds a post-graduate diploma in Management from IIM, Lucknow. He also has rich experience of giving consultations on various infrastructure and development projects to several state governments, international governments, and international development institutions.
