Around two-thirds of India’s population is in rural areas and a large proportion of this population lives in poverty. there is an urgent need to improve the economic conditions of rural households to ensure that the country’s growth is equitable.
At agri charcha, let’s kick start conversations around innovations that put these rural households at the center and extend the reach of technology to improve profitability of farms, increase livelihood opportunities for rural households and thus, improve lives of the average Indian rural household.
