In the WASH sessions co-hosted by WaterAid India, experts from government, civil society, academia & market will discuss and establish the need and scope of strengthening interventions at local, district and state level, as part of the missions and initiatives for improved WASH outcomes such as Swachh Bharat Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission and initiatives for hygiene promotion. The sessions will also highlight some of the important areas of focus that the states and districts can prioritize, in order to ensure improved WASH outcomes under these missions.
With the development sector grappling with shrinking resources, the way forward requires a coming together of all stakeholders - nonprofits, government, corporates, foundations, academia and philanthropists. Engaging them in a dialogue on the most pressing issues of our time.
