The Education track cohosted by Central Squre Foundation focuses on school-going children being one of the most affected demographics by the pandemic. While healthcare has taken precedence over all else, and rightly so, we must not overlook the intangible learning loss that threatens the future of our children and country. We need to come together to articulate ways in which we can ‘rebuild education back better’ such that no pandemic or flood compels children to miss out on learning.
The education track at #Charcha2021 will look at ways to help our children bounce back stronger across government and private schools, especially the low-fee ones, by — prioritising foundational learning; focussing on remediation; and adopting a blended learning approach which is a mix of EdTech, in-person instruction, and increased parental participation.
With the development sector grappling with shrinking resources, the way forward requires a coming together of all stakeholders - nonprofits, government, corporates, foundations, academia and philanthropists. Engaging them in a dialogue on the most pressing issues of our time.
