Atul Satija is the Founder & CEO of The/Nudge Foundation. After 17 years of starting, scaling and turning around various businesses in some of the largest and most respected organisations globally, he decided to start The/Nudge Foundation to fulfill his passion of working on inequality and social issues facing India. Previously at his 5-year stint at InMobi, Atul helped scale the organisation from a small start-up to a global leader in mobile advertising.
Prior to InMobi, Atul was the Head of Mobile Business for Japan & Asia-Pacific, and Head of Business Development for India at Google. Atul has also done various sales, consulting and business development assignments across telecom and technology companies including Adobe, Samsung and Infosys.
Sudha leads The/Nudge Centre for Social Innovation and related initiatives to attract and develop top talent working on problems of poverty. She started her career in the technology sector, and spent 16 years in various leadership roles spanning business operations, engineering and organizational development. Her passion is in enabling organizations to ramp in scale and competence to achieve audacious goals. She was therefore attracted to the development sector and the immense opportunities it offers for organizations to innovate and grow their impact.
Sudha is an engineer, and MBA from IIM Lucknow.
Saurabh heads the Programs and Initiatives capability and has been closely involved with The/Nudge since inception. He is, by his own admission, excited by the vision of building a world-class organization in the development sector and bringing about sustainable change among the youth. In his earlier stints, he has spent 15 years in the corporate sector working with companies like Google where he led and grew the Strategic Partnerships business by 60%, and Motorola where he led many key software deliverables for flagship mobile handsets.
John heads The/Nudge Centre for Rural Development. He previously headed the ‘Innovation and Action’ at The/Nudge Centre for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship designing a one-of-a-kind residential skill development program focused on foundational learning leading to a sustainable urban livelihood for underprivileged youth in India
John has 13 years of experience across market research, healthcare consulting, healthcare product management, campaigning for human rights and digital fundraising. Previously, he worked in product leadership roles at Amnesty International India, Reckitt Benckiser, GBI Research and Frost & Sullivan.
John graduated from BITS, Pilani and did his post graduation at Indian School of Business (ISB).
Anant heads Partnerships at The/Nudge Foundation. In the past, Anant led strategy as the CEO of Bharti Airtel, strategic enterprise business for 16 years. Prior to Airtel, Anant worked as Head- Sales Operation for Reliance and established infrastructure and execution of sales operations. Anant holds an MBA from INSEAD.
With 16 yrs of experience across the corporate and the development sector, Sriram leads corporate partnerships and engagements at The/Nudge to build a support ecosystem of partners for poverty alleviation in India.
After several years of experience in healthcare consulting for the US and European markets, Sriram’s entrepreneurial journey led him to build the India community mobilization and retail fundraising operations at Amnesty International India where he mobilized the support of 2 million people for the protection of human rights.
Sriram holds a Bachelors in Pharmacy (Hons) from BITS, Pilani.
Amit leads our development efforts in the US to build a global base of supporters along with the outreach and communications of our work. In his 20+ years career, Amit has more than a decade of executive leadership experience in the US marketing and technology space. With experience in both the enterprise and start-up sector, Amit has helped the growth of companies like Hexaware, Demandbase, Madison Logic and Ziff Davis. A firm believer in giving back, Amit also volunteers his time with Parivaar in helping them scale their programs.
Amit has a B.Tech from University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee) and MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
Lakshmi has over 15 years of experience in private equity, corporate strategy and finance across organisations like Ascent Capital, Aditya Birla Group and Deloitte. She enjoys working with organisations to help them solve key business problems and scale up and believes in applying the same rigour to solving problems in the development sector. Prior to joining the Collective Impact project, she was responsible for new initiatives at the Center for Social Innovation at The/Nudge. Lakshmi is a Chartered Accountant and MBA from Indian School of Business.
Atul is the head of people function at The/Nudge Foundation. He previously led community engagement at The/Nudge. Before shifting to the social sector. he worked as the head of sales and customer success at Belong.co. Prior to that, he was working as the VP of Revenue at Babajob. With his varied experience in business development, revenue success and sales, Atul brings a unique approach to handling the people function team. Atul holds an MBA from IIM Kolkata.
